No se si os ha llegado a vosotros una cartita diciendo que los 900 modelo 95 están llamados a revisión para cambiar la centralita del airbag, al parecer ha debido dar fallos. A mí me la han mandado los del sitio donde lo compré, o sea, Luxemburgo, con lo cual no se si en España pasará. Pero sino, a empezar a pedir explicaciones, porque son iguales los coches vendidos en luxemburgo que en España

pues si 53000 vehiculos son los afectados.........

Airbag control unit for 1995 model year Saab 900s to be replaced
Saab will initiate a product safety campaign on the 1995 model year Saab 900 in order to replace the airbag electronic control unit. On a limited number of cars Saab has found that an electrical short within the airbag electronic control unit may cause the inadvertent deployment of the frontal airbags and seat belt pretensioners.

The problem is predominantly reported from markets that include a tropical climate, such as Thailand and Hong Kong. However, as a precautionary measure Saab has decided to include cars on all markets.

There are no reports of accidents with personal injuries originating from this problem.

The airbag central control unit on these cars will be replaced. This campaign will start during February 2003 in East Asia and will eventually include 55.000 cars globally.

A letter will be sent to vehicle owners requesting them to contact their dealer to have this service performed, which will be carried out at no cost to the owner.
