he seguido leyendo y decía el blog alemán ese, que lo mismo si mahindra compra la marca SAAB; SAAB AB no tendría problema en ceder los derechos de uso de la marca...pero esto es una conjetura. El caso es que no volverá a salir SAAB de trolhattan. Y los de BAIC se fabricaban en trolhattan, según tengo entendido, que puede ser que no.

La agonía de Saab es como el dicho ese de "Ni se muere padre ni cenamos", así se llevan ya cinco años. Primero GM que la quiere cerrar, Spiker que la trata de salvar y no puede, el acuerdo con los chinos, la creación de NEVS y los primeros prototipos eléctricos para respaldar la inversión, uno de los socios chinos que no cumple, vuelta a las solicitudes de quiebra por parte de los proveedores y ahora... Mahindra.

Lo bueno es que esta última no ha desmentido que esté en negociaciones con NEVS y que Saab AB consentiría en ceder los derechos de uso de la marca que es de lo poco de valor que queda de la antigua Saab.

Nevs announces intention to lay off employees
Nevs announces intention to lay off up to 200 employees due to lack of work, as the decision to re-start production will be further delayed.
Nevs has retained the permanent workforce for production since the production was stopped in the end of May this year. The reason for this has been that the company would be ready to quickly start up production, upon such decision.
The prerequisites for making a decision to start up production are to have long-term secured funding and a business plan that has been worked through together with a new majority owner.
The ongoing discussions on collaboration and ownership structure, which has not yet resulted in a binding agreement, indicates that the decision for a start-up of production will take time.
With this there is a redundancy of the workforce. Therefore, Nevs’ management has decided to hand in a notice of intention to lay off up to 200 employees to the Swedish Public Employment Service.
The terminations will take place in September in order to rapidly reduce the company's costs during the reorganization period. This is a step in the reorganization plan that the administrator will present on the creditors meeting on October 8.
Nevs intends to retain the remaining staff to maintain the plant in good condition, to be prepared for the new production, after such a decision is taken, and to continue developing new products.

Bueno, ahora en español.

SAAB ha anunciado esta misma misma mañana la intención de despedir hasta 200 trabajadores debido a la falta de producción en la factoría de Trllhättan, que lleva parada desde mayo de este año, debido a los problemas de liquidez que acucian a la empresa.
En el comunicado oficial, NEVS describe que esta medida se ha tomado según el nuevo plan de negocios, que según la misma nota, ha sido realizado con el nuevo dueño mayoritario, cuya identidad no ha sido revelada por el momento, ya que afirman aún carecen de un acuerdo vinculante, por lo que entendemos realmente continúan las negociaciones con un gran fabricante.
Futuro incierto
Los despidos tendrán efecto inmediato para poder presentar un nuevo plan con costos inferiores en la junta de acreedores que tendrá lugar el próximo 8 de octubre. El resto de la plantilla continuará su trabajo, preparados para comenzar de nuevo la producción y continuar el desarrollo de nuevos productos
